Fishmonger in Marsalforn, Gozo
These were more or less shot “from the hip” last Tuesday night in Marsalforn, when one of the fishermen drew a little crowd that was keen to see – and buy – his catch of the day. The photos are certainly no masterpieces. Nonetheless, I quite like the atmosphere they convey.

Hmmmm…a nice fried fish sandwich would make for a yummy lunch today.
Very inspiring photos Sabine!
B&W was the perfect choice.
Very atmospheric shots highlighted by the monochrome! I almost feel like an intruder watching the little events of an ordinary day! And yet, each capture lifts the moment to creative artistry!
thank you girls – and sorry for my late response… (nothing new on that front LOL!!). I could really only use these pics in BW; the quality was just too low. But I still like the outcome – and I’m very happy you see that my way, too!
