If it wasn’t for the PhotoHunt I think my blogging would finally come to an end. Funny enough, the thought, “Ah, this is something I must blog about!” still occurs to me every so often. But then the sands run so quickly through life’s hour-glass that I just never actually get it done. Last weekend was extreme, of course. Saturday – the wedding day of Romina and Jonathan – just flew by. Before we knew it it was 02:30 in the morning!! Sunday saw me spending an awful lot of hours sorting through the photos, and then narrowing the choice down further, for the “video” (see my previous post further down).
So, now for the photohunt, which wasn’t as easy as it should have been. I mean, Gozo is full of views, whichever way you turn! But I didn’t want to post a picture that I had published before, so off I went this morning, to take a couple of View shots. The weather – how ever much I like it this way – didn’t agree with my plans. No sunshine, but no fancy clouds either. Just plain, thick grey cover all around. Add to that the fact that the summer-scorched landscapes haven’t seen enough rainfall yet to come up with any green worth mentioning (let alone photographing), everything looked rather bleak and murky…
Stubborn person that I am, though, I didn’t give up completely. I shamelessly, if somewhat amateurishly, put Photoshop to use, tickling at least a little bit of colour out of the grey mass…
When I’m saying Photoshop, I’m talking about levels and contrast and stuff like that, not imposing one photo onto another. That greenery is actually there, in a garden off the back road to Xlendi Bay.
One last word about my busy-ness… I thank everyone of you, who came round last week and commented on my photohunt; I visited only a handful of my “regulars” but didn’t find the time for more. I’m sorry!
Now I have yet another busy working week ahead, before travelling to Frankfurt next Saturday, for the annual Kempinski PR Workshop. If only the days had more hours in them…

Gorgeous view and wonderful composition, Sabine, despite the sun’s coopertion. This was not my best “photo hunt” week. I should have tried to capture a new view, but like you, I’ve been looking for days with more hours in them – please let me know if you discover how to make that happen!
Blessings on your weekend, dear friend.
I’d love to have a meal. Right. There.
Great shot, Sabine! xoxo

What gorgeous!
This is an amazing shot. Perfect view. Here is my view.
Like the way you took this picture with the greenery in the foreground. Especially that tree makes it look very special.
I like how you brought out the sky and the greens, it really makes the image quite a beauty to look at
