To start with: sorry, my photohunt isn’t going to happen this week. The theme, Sad, just couldn’t be further removed from my emotions right now, and time was the one luxury I haven’t had lately. Still don’t, really, but at least I have a moment to myself right now, before I’ll collapse in my hotel bed (which looks awfully inviting, by the way!).
I arrived in Frankfurt safe and sound, then had the bad luck of a nutty old taxi driver (one “of the old school”, driving for 40 years!), who couldn’t figure out how to get to the hotel. When I finally checked in it was literally minutes before the welcome meeting, which was followed by dinner. I’m pretty knackered now.
There’s one thing I promised to post by this weekend, though, and I’d better hurry because the weekend is almost over… Last week Grace of Sandier Pastures bestowed another award on my blog! :) Unfortunately these awards never come without rules
, why on earth six of everything?? Wouldn’t three be perfectly enough? Oh well. No pain, no gain, so here goes:
Mention the blog that gave it to you and comment on their blog to let them know you have posted your award.
Publish these rules:
Share 6 values that are important to you and 6 things you do not support. Grant the prize to 6 people.
6 THINGS I VALUE
1. Family
2. Friends
3. My work, more than ever!
4. The knowledge I’ve gathered all through my life
5. Health
6. My computer that keeps me in touch with the whole world!
6 THINGS I DO NOT SUPPORT
1. War
2. Violence of any kind, but especially towards children and animals
3. Poverty and hunger in the third world
4. Arrogance
5. Male chauvinism
6. Injustice
Phew. And now for my six chosen ones, all of whom I really believe are deserving of a creativity award…
1. Daniel (although he exhibits most of his creativity HERE!)
2. Patricia
3. Carver
4. Gemma
5. Lissa
6. Jessica
Must run now, we are going to have a full day of work tomorrow. Hope you’re all enjoying a relaxing weekend! G’nite! xxx

Despite the busy schedule, you posted this? You’re superwoman.
Sabine, thanks for another award, I agree with you on awards, the rules somehow makes it harder to choose people to award it,
here in this case, I totally would use/steal your “not support” list, but I guess I’m just have to come up with my own list, darn the rules!
thanks and I will post something about this when I get a chance, I don’t don’t how you fit anything in your schedule let along blog
congrats on your award!
Hi Sabine,
Congratulations on the award. You are definitely a creative blogger. I appreciate your mentioning me for it. I hope the rest of your time in Frankfurt goes well and isn’t too exhausting. Cheers, Carver
You are just too, too sweet, Sabine. You know, I just don’t know what to do with awards myself, but I must say that you are most deserving and it is an honor for you to have included me in your list of recipients. (((Hugs))) Your trips sound just delightful, and I’m thrilled to know that happiness and not sadness fills your day!
I can’t believe you have given me this award! I feel so humble and thrilled and excited and just wrapped!
Thank you so much for passing it on to me! And now the hard part! So many deserving!
Sabine,
thank you so much for the award!!! Thanks for all our support, thanks for believing in me! This means a lot to me. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!
Just letting you know, I have written a post on my blog, connected to you and passed the award on to 6 people! The post was written the same day ~Sunday 5 ~ that you gave it to me!
Yes! I am still thrilled!
Happy travelling!
wow my first ever award! :D
thanks a lot for this award! the rules make it quitie hard for me though as i’m still fairly new to blogging so dont really know any bloggers and have no idea who to give the awards to lol i’ll try to surf a bit around till i find some creative bloggers and then post the reward thingie lol
how’s your trip in Frankfurt going?
Awards with rules attatched can become a problem. Recently I had 4, and was expected to find 28 people to pass them on to. Being new at this game, that presented a herculean task. My mother taught me never to give a present with conditions so I passed them to 7 people in total with the hope that they could do the same to whom
and how many they saw fit. The pyramid selling way, is not my way.
PS. I probably would have committed murder in that correct teutonic taxi. Being subjacted to a welcome dinner after a long flight is not my idea of fun either.
I forget to tell you I have posted the award at my photoblog – here’s the link-

thanks again for the award!
