| I'm not just sure, but I know there are funny signs to be found in the Maltese islands. Alas, I didn't have the time to go looking for them. Thankfully the PhotoHunt theme includes the word unique so not all's lost.
These two signs are found in Dwejra, on an open area that leads right to the top of the famous Azure Window (another photo of a tiny part of it is here). The way there is not cordoned off by any means; but if you happen to fall off that enormous rock structure, they can always say "We told you so!"
The other sign is there to protect innocent tourists, who take the boat-ride from the Inland Sea out into the open, from naughty tourists who have the need to throw objects down the cliffs, presumably to see how long it takes for those objects to hit the sea. Or the boats... Hmm. I haven't had the guts yet to go up there... But one day I will. It's all about getting those photos that aren't just in everybody's album!! |
